Are you RE-BORN…DO THE TEST????
From: The Secret to God’s Light
In the beginning of entering the path as Christians, we have faith in something we cannot see, but that does not mean it has to remain this way. We have to seek God’s kingdom and follow the path until we find it. In other words, we have to have faith in God which we do not see until such time that we do. Ultimately we have to find God when we seek Him, is that not the promise of God? There is one important matter though; we have to understand the difference between the physical and spiritual bodies before it will be possible for us to accomplish this.
Let me explain: Someone, who is born in flesh, will bear the image of the parents. Moreover, God is spirit, and those who are created in His image, will bear the image of spirit. How is it possible to be the child of a spiritual being if we are not created in the image of such being?
Example: Why are members in the church called brothers and sisters? Physically, brothers and sisters have the same mother and father and are therefore brothers and sisters. Well, in spirit it works exactly the same way. We become spiritual brothers and sisters when we are born of the same Father, which is God; and the same mother, which is the community.
Moreover, that which is born of God will return to God, and that which is born of the flesh will return to dust. The physical body was created physically and will solely have life until the spirit is separated from it. But the spirit which was created into the image of Jesus will return to God.
What is this spirit of Jesus and how is it created within us?
The spirit of Jesus is the gift of God which we receive in the beginning of entering the path. Receiving the Christ spirit is not given to everybody; as we shall see. Jesus is entrusted unto people who have mature souls and who are capable of carrying their cross. Jesus is the wisdom and the power of God which is born into a seekers heart.
1 Corinthians 1: 24 ‘24. . .Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.’
Jesus Christ is the wisdom and power of God, not a human. Moreover, Jesus is born within us when we are ready to be transformed into the image of Jesus. Again; not to the image of a human, we have the image of a human already. We have to be transformed into a spirit image; which is the image of God’s son; the wisdom and power of the Father.
Jesus is formed within us by the spoken word:
Jesus is born within us as a faint little light of wisdom, or as a baby. But we have to magnify this light by gathering as much wisdom of God’s mysteries as possible.
Again: By listening to the Word of God the spirit of light is formed within us. This process of being created into God’s image is how we are reborn. In other words; as we are enlightened with God’s spirit, the human desires are conquered and this way transformed into the image of Jesus.
Example: At first we loved the physical bodies and minds of people. But in time, we learned to love Jesus the path within our brothers and sisters. The brother or sister spirit is not visible to the physical eye. God’s spirit merely becomes visible when God speaks through the member; as we recognise God’s children by their words, is it not?
In 1 Corinthians 15 the Bible explains how we have to be transformed from being earthy, into becoming heavenly beings. This text clearly explains how we have to be transformed from the first carnally minded being into the second eternal Lord from heaven.
1 Corinthians 15: 47 ‘47The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. 48As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. 49And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.’
Many people are not aware that we are responsible for magnifying Jesus; which we will discuss. But we shall solely be reborn when our hearts are transformed to the Image of Jesus.
This process is quite simple to understand. Jesus is magnified by the Word of God. In other words, our understanding concerning God’s mysteries will be magnified by listening to God’s Words, where two or three are gathered in His name. We will therefore feed Jesus and protect Him by remaining close to God.
Matthew 25: 42 ‘42For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.’
It is so scary that so many people have no idea of what God Jesus or His kingdom really is. People have no idea of how Jesus enters our hearts and how to follow Him into God’s kingdom; they are actually shocked when they leave the body and find that there is no kingdom or God waiting for them.
We are born in darkness and will remain in the image of the flesh for as long as we love the flesh. This is exactly why Jesus has to be born within us; He is the wisdom and power of God which will assist us to conquer the love we have for the flesh.
How important is it to conquer the flesh?
It is of utmost importance; because our flesh is worshipers of Satan, enmity to God and will never enter God’s kingdom; that is why.
1 Corinthians 15: 50 ‘50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.’
I want to stop here for a moment, as many Christians think that the flesh is the physical body, it is not. The flesh is the fleshly desires of the human mind which has to die. In other words, the fleshly mind which loves the material treasures has to be replaced with the spiritual mind which love’s souls and the eternal treasures of God.
John 3: 5 ‘5Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.’
Romans 8: 7 ‘7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.’
James 4: 4 ‘4Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.’
God makes it very clear that our fleshly bodies would never enter into His kingdom. The thought of rising from the physical grave and then ascending with God in the fleshly body should therefore totally be scrapped from our hearts as well.
The body’s which shall rise from the graves is merely a code for being reborn into our glorified bodies with Jesus. It is quite simple; we are dead and buried in darkness by our sins, and as we are transformed do the image of light by Jesus within us, we raise from the dead. Why; because Jesus is life, and as we take on His image we rise from the dead; is it not?
We are transformed to the image of God by the cross.
It was hard for Jesus to die on the cross.
Mark 14: 36 ‘36. . .And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.’
Jesus asked Father to let the cup of being crucified pass Him by, but there was no escape. To die is to live, and the only way of being re-born into spirit. But Jesus was not the only one to die on the cross. The cross is the only way for us to be reborn. The disciples and all re-born Christians completed the path by the cross.
Matthew 10: 38-39 ‘38And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.’
See the next quoted text where the two sons of Zebedee confessed that they had to drink the same cup as Jesus; by dying on the cross.
Matthew 20: 22-23 ‘22But Jesus answered and said, ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, we are able. 23And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized.’
The two sons of Zebedee knew their fate, as this was the only way to die and be reborn into a glorified body with Jesus Christ.
Romans 6: 6 ‘6Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7For he that is dead is freed from sin.’
Romans 6 explain the total re-birth in a nut shell. We are born in the sinful flesh which imprisons the soul in darkness. We therefore have to nail the flesh to the cross by conquering the lusts of the mind. We will then raise a new person in a glorified body, which has no flesh. We will then have the image of Jesus and be taken up into heaven with Him.
Galatians 2: 20 ‘20I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me. . .’
Galatians 5: 24 ‘24And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.’
Galatians 6: 14 ‘14But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.’
Jesus was the first to be crucified
We are all human and the physical illusion is our only reality. But this is something which has to change, as that which we believe to be life, is actually death.
Romans 8: 12-13 ‘12Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.’
Romans 8 states clearly that we will die by conquering the deeds of the human flesh……..(continue…….)
